Parameter Identification of a Governing System in a Pumped Storage Unit Based on an Improved Artificial Hummingbird Algorithm

Parameter identification is an important method to establish the governing system of a pumped storage unit. Appropriate parameters will make obtain better control performance. Therefore, in this study, improved artificial hummingbird algorithm (IAHA) proposed for parameter The integrates two key strategies improve optimization ability algorithm. First, Chebyshev chaotic map employed initialize hummingbirds, which turn increases and enhances global search capability initial population. Second, Levy flight introduced guided foraging phase expand space avoid premature convergence. performance IAHA compared with that four other algorithms on 23 standard test functions, results show has higher accuracy faster convergence than algorithms. Finally, was applied unit verify effectiveness tracking real-world problems.
